Welcome the the all new Typhoon website! We’ve changed our look, added a bit more content, some new features, and there is still more to come! Soon you’ll be able to keep up with the latest news via RSS if you prefer, and you’ll be able to follow us on Facebook and Twitter as well. Take a look around, let us know what you think, and we’ll see you soon!
I love Typhoon and will be in again soon. It’s been awhile. I’ll wear a flower in my hair. Glad to see you have a Happy Hour. Will try to get some folks together for Monday night music. After all these years, I haven’t been in for that. Love the new website.

I liked the post and your writing style. I’m adding you to my RSS reader.
Greetings from Tim.
Thanks for the comments. More changes are on the way. Like all websites, It’s always a work in progress. We’ll see you in January.
Loved you main entries on your website-Live music, menu, directions etc. But seeing the airplane through me for a loop. Is there anyway, a shot of the airport with bigger pictures of the restaurant.
Also no names of owners, manager, chefs-staff members? They add to the environment. A restaurant is only good as the people that work there. Little background would help.
Love your food and the staff? Looking forward to January when I am in LA again.
Love all the information and easy access via the new website. I already receive updates via email but checking out the site is so much more fun. (That Chinook video under “Multi-Media” was great – you even set it to music! – and I liked that guy waving out the helicopter’s window.)
I’m looking forward to listening to the broadcast of live Monday night shows that I can’t make in person. Is that a new feature?
We were there last night to eat and listen to Venice. Their harmony was amazing. I’ll be downloading “Back to the Well” onto my playlist for sure. Although I’ve been to Typhoon to hear a couple other larger bands, I also liked the mellow tone of Venice – it was a nice departure and much easier to listen to when you’re only one table away from the band.
And a last note, foodwise: I love the crickets (I order them with extra basil and no potato strings), the fried tofu, sauteed string beans, garlic rice…the entire menu is great. But last night we shared rice pudding for dessert and OMG! I grew up on rice pudding but this was by far the best I’ve ever tasted. Was that coconut in the vanilla sauce? Fantastic.
